Using Price Class Margin Report

1. Enter the beginning and ending invoice dates that you want to include in the report. You can enter the same date in both fields to reference one day or enter a range of dates to reference multiple days. You may also press Enter through both fields to accept the current system default date (today's date).

2. When you enter the Sales Rep field a Select An Option window will appear with the following options:

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit and return to the Ledger menu.
• ALL SALES REPS – Select ALL SALES REPS to generate the report for all sales reps defined in the system.
• A list of sales reps.

Select one, several, or ALL SALES REPS to be included in the report by scrolling to the appropriate selection and pressing Enter. An asterisk (*) will appear, confirming your selection. Select EXIT to continue.

3. When you enter the Price Class field a Select An Option window will appear with the following options:

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit
• ALL PRICE CLASSES – Select ALL PRICE CLASSES to generate the report for all price classes defined in the system.
• A list of price classes defined in the system.

Select one, several or ALL PRICE CLASSES to be included on the report by scrolling to the appropriate selection and pressing Enter. An asterisk (*) will appear, confirming your selection. Select EXIT to continue.

4. In the Item MaskA mask is used to conduct a wild card search. Visually a mask is represented by a series of forward slash marks (///), sometimes with a letter, letters, or number(s) preceding it (1/// or AB///). For example, if you enter ////////, this indicates that you want to list all items defined in the system. If you enter in 1//1//1/, this indicates that you want the system to list items that have the digit "1" in those locations. field a Select An Item First Digit window will appear. Select the appropriate item first digit that you want, or enter the default "/" which applies to any first digit item. Continue in this manner for all digits and item classes that you want.

5. At the Item Type field, a Select An Item Type window will appear with the following options:

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit and return to the Beginning Date field.
• ALL – Select ALL to generate the report for both product-type items and other-type items.
• Product – Select Product to generate the report for product-type items.
• Other – Select Other to generate the report for other-type items.

Select the item type(s) to be included on the report by scrolling to the appropriate selection and pressing Enter. An asterisk (*) will appear, confirming your selection. Select EXIT to continue.

6. At the Cost field, a Select A Cost window will appear with the following options:

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit and return to the Beginning Date field.
• Actual Cost – Select Actual Cost to generate the report using actual cost.
• Standard Cost – Select Standard Cost to generate the report using standard cost.

Specify whether you want the report based on Actual Cost or Standard Cost.

7. The following message will display: "Continue with report? Yes, No. Select Yes to generate the Price Class Margin Report.

8. Command options will appear allowing you to print the Price Class Margin Report or choose from a set of other print options.
